De Dutch was founded on a simple premise—that what you put into something is what you get out of it. That’s why, since our start in 1975, we’ve focused on quality in everything we serve, from breakfast basics, like eggs, bacon (debakon), toast, and our own house blend coffee, to our famous pannekoeken and other brunch and lunch favourites, like French toast, eggs Benedicts, burgers, salad, and more.
Whether it’s our traditional Dutch items, like rusks, bitter ballen, hail, stroop or, of course our pannekoeken, or our dishes featuring BC ingredients, like smoked wild salmon, and local dairy and meats, we’re always looking to source de best of de best.
We know that fresh-pressed orange juice tastes better, that bread made without preservatives is better for you, and EQA® eggs have better animal welfare standards. We choose our partners carefully because we believe that better food starts with better ingredients.
